Comprehensive Cancer Centers
Comprehensive Cancer Centers have been designated as such by
the National Cancer Institute. They are required to have basic laboratory research in
several fields; to be able to transfer research findings into clinical practice; to
conduct clinical studies and trial; to research cancer prevention and control; to offer
information about cancer to patients, the public, and health care professionals; and to
provide community service related to cancer control.
