If you're looking for an exciting and versatile job, a positive and healthy office environment, and reward for being the best, we'd like to see your resume.

We are a Los Angeles area asbestos law firm with a national practice, and we are looking for an attorney who can take charge, juggle numerous responsibilities, and do it with an upbeat attitude. The attorney we're looking for will have minimum 3-5 years asbestos litigation experience. Asbestos trial preparation and experience are required.

This job requires superlative writing skills and attention to detail, solid research ability, as well as experience in all phases of asbestos litigation. We're looking for first-rate writers, first-rate communicators, and detail-oriented attorneys who produce superb work while always going the extra mile for our clients.

In order to work here, you'll need to have an extensive knowledge of asbestos products, the ability to perform intake interviews, know exposure history work-ups, and be an expert at asbestos law and procedure. Your ability to write patient profiles, keep meticulous records, do legal research, work with PubMed research abstracts, and meet strict deadlines is crucial.

You'll also need to have a sound knowledge of asbestos medicine, including diagnostic and treatment procedures such as immunohistological staining, thoracoscopy, pleurodesis, P/D, chemotherapy, and EPP. This job will require you to have extraordinary interpersonal skills and the ability to interact on a daily basis with clients who are going through great emotional and physical turmoil. Our clients are the kindest, toughest, most extraordinary people you will ever meet, and we'll expect you to rise to their level in every way.

You must be organized, responsive, able to deal with a fast-paced office environment, and have the skills to do your own document formatting and preparation. Thick skin is essential, and a positive, can-do attitude is a necessity.

Outreach skills will round out your resume, including the ability to interface with physicians, labor unions, and callers inquiring about asbestos legal and medical options. You'll have ideas about how to do things better and the ability to implement without passing the buck or expecting others to do the heavy lifting, and you'll have the initiative to get things done without being told. Travel will be required.

Email us with your resume and samples of the two best things you've ever written, and let us know why and how you'll fit into our firm. We look forward to meeting you in person.
