On July 31, 2001, at Senator Patty
Murray's request, the Senate's HELP
Committee (Health, Education, Labor & Pensions) held a hearing
on workplace exposure to asbestos. Senator Murray is working to
raise awareness about asbestos and to explore how we can better
protect workers and consumers.
