Websites Written in German, Germany

Hallo, this is Bernd from Germany.
Thank you for providing your informations to the net. I know, how much work it needs to put it into.
As most of scientific informations are written in english and only few can understand it, and none of the victims in Germany, Poland, aso., I am trying to put some Information into the net in german with translations from englisch.
As I am spacialised in Lymphomas like Hodgkins Disease, Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and Soft Tissue Sarcoma as well as Leukemia, caused by the same Poisons, I will give a link on my site http://www.free.de/WiLa/Arbeitsschutz/ and http://www.free.de/WiLa/Arbeitsschutz/bkigm2h3.htm to your site http://www.mesothel.com
I am preparing a webside according to ASABESTOS and Mineralfasern Rockwool and Glaswolle (Kuenstliche Mineralfasern (KMF).
In Germany we have an organization to these fibres, called igm, which you can see on the am site.
Thanks for your encouraging informations.
yours, Bernd Wagner
Doctors Sought for MM Patient - Düsseldorf Germany
March 3, 1998
Dear Mr. Worthington,
In January my father in law (62-years-old) was diagnosed as having a pleural mesothelioma.
He had the typical symptoms and a big pleural effusion (3,6 l) was drained. To avoid further effusions a talc pleurodesis was performed.
The diagnosis appears not too bad to me since the tumor seems not to have spread to other parts of the pleura and the lymph nodes. Anyhow, his doctor does not see any sense in surgical resection, radio or chemotherapy and recommended symptomatic treatment only.
On the search for more information I came across your very informative home page and learnt that this attitude seems to be rather normal. Since there is the danger that waiting too much time could make things worse and the stage might change into a really hopeless one, we need advice of a first class mesothelioma expert who knows most about the "dirty details" of DMM and could say which treatment might offer the best chances.
So my question is: Do you have any information about a corresponding expert in Germany / Europe or could you even recommend one? My father in law would accept traveling to the US if it is necessary, but of course this causes a number of problems and if there was somebody in Europe it would help.
Any comments are appreciated very much. Thank you very much for your help
Yours sincerely

Markus:
I looked through my materials from the IMIG conference but found no references to doctors in Germany. For a listing of doctors in Europe with an expertise in diagnosing, researching and treating mesothelioma, please see roster at http://www.mesothel.com/pages/imigrost.htm.
Good luck to you sir.

German Scientist in Search of Information
September 12, 1997
Dear Dr. Worthington,
I looking for informations about asbestosis and mesothelioma I was lucky to find your very informative asbestos update page. I am a german scientist in cancer research. Participating in an interdisciplinary research project with clinicians and molecular biologists I want to establish the technique of electron microscopical analysis of mineral fibers in human lung tissue at our institute. For that reason it would be very helpful to get in contact with other scientists who are exerienced with this method. So I would like to ask you whether you could support me by giving me some addresses of other scientists working in this field.
Hoping that I am causing not too much troubles I remain with best wishes yours sincerely
